Programs
Our school is separated into three stages: Pre-Casa, Casa, and Elementary.
Pre-Casa
Location
The East
Age Range
18 months to 3 years
Elementary
Locations
The Bay & Orillia
Age Range
Grades 1 to 8
The term “Casa” originates from the Italian term “Casa de Bambini,” or Children’s House. This allows the child ownership over their environment, as Montessori, by principle, is a child-centred approach to learning. Casa or Children’s House creates the sense of a warm home rather than a conventional classroom.
Our Montessori provides a rich, engaging, and supportive educational experience that prepares children not just academically, but as thoughtful, engaged citizens.
Our well-rounded curriculum covers topics ranging from collaboration to critical thinking and problem-solving.
Collaborative Environment
Students work in mixed-age classrooms, promoting collaboration, peer learning, and the development of leadership skills as they teach and support one another.
Independence & Responsibility
Students are free to make choices about their work, which fosters a sense of responsibility and independence – essential skills for their future. By giving children autonomy over their work, they are exercising the skills to prioritize their time and classroom responsibilities.
Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving
Our curriculum encourages inquiry and exploration, nurturing critical thinking and problem-solving skills as children engage in real-world projects such as organizing community-focused fundraisers.
Hands-On Learning
Our Montessori emphasizes experiential learning with materials that engage the senses, helping children grasp abstract concepts through tangible experiences.
Peace & Community
Our Montessori instills values of respect, empathy, and cooperation, helping children understand their role within their community and the importance of social responsibility. We supports children with the development of life skills including but not limited to effective and independent conflict resolution.
Tailored Learning
Our teachers or Directresses observe each child’s progress and tailor instruction to meet their individual needs, ensuring all students can thrive and feel successful.
